Rob van Uffelen

A master mariner, marine consultant, expert witness and instructor with 40 years’ experience in the maritime industry, of which the last 30 years specialising in dangerous cargo matters.

Rob held positions as the global head of the Dangerous Cargo Department at the world’s largest container carriers. He represented shipping lines at the international regulatory bodies on the transport of dangerous cargoes.
Most recently, as a company instructor in handling dangerous cargoes by sea, road, rail and inland barging and Marine Consultant at de Haas | van Oosterhout on dangerous cargo matters.
