Jan ter Haar
A Master Mariner – unlimited tonnage – with 40 years of seagoing experience, of which the last 25 years as Master in command, on a large variety of vessels including tankers (chemical and oil), reefer, general cargo and heavy lift vessels.
After his career at sea, Jan continued as Lecturer at the Nautical faculty and as a marine expert, specialised in investigating all sorts of marine liabilities, with a particular focus on navigation incidents, cargo damage, contaminations, cargo shifting, stability issues etc.
